Looking for your next binge-worthy thrill? Check out "The Gentlemen", a new eight episode series available on Netflix, that effortlessly blends crime, wit, and style. Crafted by the brilliant mind of Guy Ritchie, and delivered in his trademark style of cool dialogue, fast cuts and lots and lots of violence, this underworld drama boasts a charismatic cast led by White Lotus star Theo James.

In a preview featurette for Netflix, this is how Guy Ritchie himself described the plot:

We meet Eddie Horniman as he inherits his father’s sizable estate… only to discover it’s part of a weed empire. “Understandably, His Grace wants to extract himself from this particular business,” Ritchie told Netflix ... Moreover, a host of unsavory characters from Britain’s criminal underworld want a piece of the operation. Eddie tries to play the gangsters at their own game. “And that’s where deals are struck with the underworld that will probably come back to haunt him,” Ritchie continued.

As Eddie gets sucked into that life, he begins to develop a taste for it. But, as Ritchie said, that tension between the aristocratic and the crooked is “where all the fun lies.” After all, he explained, “That’s really what the show is about — the evolution from zoo to jungle, and how to hunt in the jungle.” Will Eddie survive?

We've seen it, we love it, and the audience seems to agree, rewarding it with an 8.4 rating on IMDb.

For fans of crime dramas, "The Gentlemen" is a must-watch. Its stellar ensemble cast and fast paced storytelling make it a standout addition to Netflix's diverse lineup.
